Welcome to Piedmont Aquaculture!
Piedmont Aquaculture is nestled at the base of Sand Mountain in the Tennessee River Valley, Marshall County, Alabama. It sits on a complex limestone aquifer supplying unlimited quantities of pristine water.
The intent of acquiring this unique property is to develop and adapt the existing infrastructure into a diverse and vertically integrated supplier of plant and animal aquacultured products to niche markets in North America.
The existing infrastructure includes 16 concrete raceways, 85 acres of ponds ranging in size from ½ acre to 4.5 acres all professionally engineered and suited to Piedmont’s plan for diversification.
Piedmont will rework and redesign the existing infrastructure to accommodate the production of a new and diverse suite of crops. We intend to develop and work with a network of local growers to grow and supply the inventory required for regional and national markets.
