Timeline of Activities
Some of these diversified activities will include, but not limited to the following:
Spring/Summer/Fall 2009
- Activities were confined to new construction, refurbishing, redesigning, establishment of strategic partnerships, and preparing for our business plan objectives.
Winter 2009 -2010
- Yellow perch brood stock arrive to establish a regional hatchery for the production of yellow perch fingerlings
- Stock adult catfish for fee fishing ponds
- Prepare ponds dedicated to the growth and production of ornamental and edible lotus plant
- Bring in red swamp crawfish for stocking
- Construct external catch basins to two ¾ acre ponds for the production of freshwater prawns
- Now featuring Alabama frozen farm raised marine shrimp. We will be selling them in 1#, 2# and 5# packages
Spring 2010
- Open two 3/4-acre catfish ponds dedicated to fee fishing.

Facilities will revolve around family, group, community and organizational activities.

Catfish fingerlings will be available for pond stocking

Market sized catfish for pond stocking

Bring in fresh water juvenile prawns for grow-out

Bring in fresh water prawn (post larvae) for grow-out to juveniles and distribution to local producer

Plant the first of the edible and ornamental lotus plant

Establish a facility for "Nana's Kitchen" – a limited menu take-out for fish out, local and tourist customers

Move hatched yellow perch larvae into ponds and inside hatchery for grow-out to fingerlings

The fee fishing ponds are now stocked and will be open to the public in July – just in time for July 4th!
Summer 2010
- First of the crawfish harvest for local and retail markets Open "Nana's Kitchen"
Fall 2010
- First yellow perch fingerlings ready for distribution

Harvest freshwater prawns for sale to local retail market

Establish holding facility for live freshwater prawns
Winter 2010/ 2011
- Live freshwater prawns will be available for retail during the Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year/Football Bowl seasons while inventories last
